Tierra del Sol's Arts Management Intern will support career artists, who have developmental disabilities, to develop and maintain art portfolios. Portfolios, along with a consistent review process, allow artists to be at the center of developing their skills, as well as receiving formal critique and mentoring on their technique and work habits. The intern will use digital data retrieval systems (used globally in museums, galleries, and art agencies) as they review physical art inventory, take high-quality photos, document each image, and save and upload the photos to the archival system. Through this project, the intern will advance Tierra’s mission, vision, and values by expanding the impact of the artists’ work, appreciating the talent of career artists, and making it possible for people to appreciate the individual contributions of these artists, regardless of the fact that they have disabilities. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week from June 2026 through March 2027. The Intern will work from multiple sites and will have workstations provided at the Tierra Inclusive Studios, the Tierra Gallery and also work remotely from their own locations for a limited number of hours.
