Art Instructor Activities Attendant
About The Position
The role of the Art Instructor Activities Attendant is to facilitate the variety of crafts and or activities that Crystal Springs offers its guests. This is a very hands on position, and the best candidates will be able very active individuals able to be up and moving for the entire length of the shift, both indoors and outdoors. The most important quality we are looking for is a great personality with a lot of excitement and positive energy to create a lasting experience for our guests and a creative background to run creative and art based experiences for resort guests using a variety of styles, including acrylic and watercolor painting, pencil sketching, drawing, mixed-media projects, seasonal crafts, and nature-inspired art. Activities may range from leading Paint & Sip classes to taking guests on nature walks where they can observe their surroundings and create guided sketches.
Requirements
- Must have weekend and weekday availability
- Must be 18 years or older
- Creative background to run creative and art based experiences
- Ability to be active and moving for the entire length of the shift, both indoors and outdoors
Nice To Haves
- Experience with acrylic and watercolor painting, pencil sketching, drawing, mixed-media projects, seasonal crafts, and nature-inspired art
Responsibilities
- Setup and breakdown of activities
- Inventorying and managing the equipment inventory for art supplies
- Conducting arts and crafts sessions
- Participating in other special events and holidays
