About The Position

The UNM Art Department is seeking applicants for an Art & Ecology Project Assistant Position who will work with Professor Jeanette Hart-Mann. Applications are being accepted from all students. The Art & Ecology Project Assistant will work flexible hours up to 10 hours weekly. Tasks will include assisting the professor in creative research, including using digital equipment and computer software to prepare work, organizing and modifying materials for projects, post-production editing, and working on digital archives and websites.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM
  • Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters
  • If Work Study, must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress

  • Graduate Student in the MFA Program
  • Skill in use of personal computers
  • Skill in use of Adobe Suite
  • Skill in use of photographic equipment
  • Skill in use of flatbed scanners
  • Skill at organizing archives and websites
