About The Position

Dynamic Catholic is seeking a brand-obsessed Art Director to serve as a keeper and guardian of our visual brand. We do not settle for "good enough." Our mission is to re-energize the Catholic Church in America, and we believe that world-class resources are the only way to meet people where they are. As the Art Director, you will be the steward of the Dynamic Catholic brand, ensuring that every asset—from a social media graphic to a multi-million dollar program launch—is visually stunning, strategically aligned, and executed to a "World Class" standard before it ever leaves the building. Crucially, you have the professional maturity to subordinate your ego to the Mission. You understand that the best idea is the one that serves the Strategic Vision of the organization, and you are ready to "kill your darlings" whenever a project requires a pivot or a higher level of brand alignment.

Requirements

  • Elite sense of taste and a discriminating eye.
  • Veteran of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to jump into files when needed.
  • Continuous learner who welcomes feedback and iterative design.
  • Ability to subordinate ego—abandoning even favorite creative concepts if they don't serve the Mission or the Strategic Objectives.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to "Zoom Out" to receive feedback.
  • Take personal responsibility for the visual integrity of the organization.
  • Willingness to relocate to the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Responsibilities

  • Review visual assets across the department, providing the necessary pressure-test to ensure they meet the World Class standard before they are released to the public.
  • Maintain and evolve our brand guidelines, ensuring our visual language remains fresh, cohesive, and compelling for our target audience.
  • Act as a mentor and creative guide for the design team, helping them elevate their work through collaborative feedback and brand coaching.
  • Work directly with Marketing, Content, Development, and Leadership to navigate the tension between brand aesthetics, technical requirements, and mission-driven performance.
