About The Position

As an Art Director, you’ll be part of our in-house advertising agency “The Shop,” working as a remote employee. You will contribute a high volume of ideas that turn strategy into clear, compelling creative concepts, and develop and execute concepts for campaigns, earned media, and activations across all channels including digital, social, retail, and video. The role involves supporting projects from concept through final execution, ensuring high-quality creative output, and partnering with copywriters and cross-functional teams to build integrated work that meets business objectives. You will present ideas clearly and confidently, articulating the concept and its value, and collaborate with Creative Directors, Associate Creative Directors, and Senior Art Directors to refine campaign direction. Additionally, you will assist in planning photo and video shoots, supporting art direction on set, and working with photographers, videographers, production, vendors, and editors. The position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously while staying on strategy, on time, and on budget, and contributing to brainstorms to push the work to a higher standard. Requirements

  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5+ years’ work experience with an in-house marketing team or advertising agency.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with strong design and art direction skills.
  • A portfolio with relevant work experience and examples (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in photo/video art direction (preferred).
