The Art Director for Global Marketing will help develop creative and marketing initiatives that are deemed to be global and sit largely outside regional marketing at Christie’s. Occasionally, they will be involved in high-value regional initiatives in partnership with regional creative directors. Regular responsibilities will include collaborating with internal business units such as Christie’s Art Finance and Private Sales, as well as working on regular projects with Restitution and Responsible Culture, amongst others. In addition, the Art Director will drive one-off global initiatives that support all regions. This role is responsible for the stewardship, development and implementation the Christie’s brand identity on a global scale. Such work involves oversight of brand identity on social media creative, auction-specific creative, business proposals and more. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Content, Creative and Social, this role is positioned to help evolve Christie’s and continue its legacy as an arbiter of culture and creativity. The ideal candidate for this role is well-versed in digital creative and is comfortable with ideation and execution. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment is essential. Video and motion experience is a plus.
