About The Position
San Dieguito Union High School District is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for Sculpture and Digital Art Design courses within the Arts and CTE Arts, Media, and Entertainment pathway. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can provide engaging, hands-on instruction, support diverse learners, and foster a positive and creative classroom environment. The ideal candidate has strong content knowledge in both traditional and digital art mediums, effective classroom management skills, and the flexibility to adapt to student needs.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid California Single Subject Credential in Art.
- Possession of a valid Career Techinical Education (CTE) Credential in Arts, Media, and Entertainment.
- Must hold valid credentials.
- Resume (Must be current).
- Letter of Introduction (Must be current and relative to the position you are applying to).
- 3 Letters of Recommendation (dated within the last 2 years).
- Credential copy (current printouts of the credential document details page from the CTC website that shows your name, document name, document status, subjects/authorizations, and expiration date).
- Disclosure of all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) where previously employed (requested upon job offer extension).
