About The Position
MercyOne North Iowa Neurology is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Mason City, Iowa. This is an outpatient position with no call requirements, and the clinic is a Primary Stroke Center that has received the 2020 "Get with the Guidelines"- Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The clinic is located within MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital recognized as a Top 100 Hospital nationally. The medical center is part of a regional health system serving approximately 260,000 people across 14 counties, including 7 critical access hospitals and 42 clinics. The Neurology team serves the entire network. The Level III Trauma Center offers post-graduate education programs, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, and a Cardiology Fellowship.
Requirements
- ARNP or PA certification.
- Experience in Neurology is implied by the role.
- Successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient neurology services.
- Collaborate with a team of 1 Neurologist and 2 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Serve the healthcare needs of a network covering 14 counties.
