About The Position

Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatric ARNP 'Moonlighter' to fill 'as needed' shifts and weekend shifts that are not on a pre-set schedule. These employees do not hold a full-time equivalent (FTE) position and are scheduled according to the fluctuating needs of FBH. The current need is for weekday coverage. The Moonlighter is expected to see all assigned patients and address their care needs, with the workday length potentially varying based on patient census and medical needs. If the workday ends before 5:00 PM, the Moonlighter must remain available by phone and able to return onsite if necessary. The ARNP performs psychiatric evaluations, formulates diagnoses, evaluates and prescribes medications, laboratory studies, and imaging as licensed. They participate in treatment plan development, review cases with treatment teams, and ensure evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Case consultation with other FBH staff, residential providers, and families is provided upon request. The ARNP may occasionally be asked to cover another inpatient unit or the outpatient setting.
