About The Position

The ARMO Welder IV plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by producing high-quality welded assemblies while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. In this role, you will utilize your welding expertise, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to support production objectives and ensure products meet company and industry requirements. You will work collaboratively with manufacturing teams to deliver reliable solutions that contribute to operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a welding certificate from a college, technical school, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months of TIG and MIG welding experience.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Have the ability to meet company QA welder qualifications, including NADCAP certification requirements.
  • Have intermediate math, measurement, and reading skills.
  • Have experience safely operating industrial equipment, including manual welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, automatic welders, plasma cutters, and cutting torches.
  • Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Have the ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines.
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively with peers, supervisors, management, vendors, and customers.
  • Have the willingness to follow manufacturing procedures and company policies consistently.
  • Have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Have the ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Prioritizing production orders to support delivery schedules and operational requirements.
  • Performing layouts and preparing materials for welding activities.
  • Positioning, aligning, and fitting components together according to specifications.
  • Bolting, clamping, and tack-welding parts to secure them in position prior to final welding.
  • Setting up welding equipment and performing welding operations using manual and automated welding processes.
  • Operating welding and cutting equipment while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Following all manufacturing procedures, quality requirements, and company policies.
  • Supporting additional manufacturing activities and performing other duties assigned based on workload and business needs.
