Armed Security - Cash Transport
About The Position
GardaWorld is hiring an Armed Security employee for cash transport. GardaWorld provides services throughout the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, cash vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash recycler services. The company operates a large fleet of armored vehicles and processes, manages, and moves over $8 billion in cash each day while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise. The role involves safely and efficiently transporting valuables in an armored truck as a Driver/Messenger. Employees interact with customers, issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify transfers, and follow high standards of customer service and driver safety in all weather conditions. The role is armed and requires maintaining the licenses or permits necessary for the employee’s area. Heavy lifting is required. The stated pay range is $17.50–$19.50 per hour. Pay may increase based on performance and additional responsibilities. Full-time employees are offered 401(k), health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), PTO, and employee perks.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid, clean driver’s license.
- Have, or be able to obtain and maintain, active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Have strong customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport valuables in an armored truck.
- Interact professionally with customers and develop rapport in keeping with customer service standards.
- Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
- Follow driver-safety standards in all weather conditions.
- Remain vigilant to support the safety and security of customers, colleagues, and the community.
- Maintain the licenses and permits required to work as an armored truck driver/messenger.
