About The Position
Accel Entertainment, Inc. is a growing provider of locals-focused gaming and one of the largest terminal operators in the United States. This role involves providing secure and reliable transport of cash to customers at off-site locations, verifying and paying jackpots accurately and timely, and maintaining heightened security protocol and safety procedures. The position requires asset protection, demonstrating competence in ensuring accuracy, and safe operation of company vehicles. The role also involves performing duties inside and outside of vehicles, complying with all licensure and certification requirements for operating company vehicles and carrying a firearm, and maintaining compliance with company policies and federal/state safe driving standards. Additionally, the role requires reconciliation of all valuables, demonstrating security awareness, performing minor machine repair at times, and employing the use of all senses to assess threat conditions, reporting suspicious activity to base and/or law enforcement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- At least six (6) months' experience as armed guard preferred
- At least six (6) months of cash handling experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid unrestricted state driver's license within the jurisdiction in which the company operates
- Must possess a firearm and a valid CCW
- Must have or apply for & receive a Gaming Registration with the NV Gaming Control Board
- Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to effectively and efficiently follow directions, document incidents, write statements and communicate with co-workers and customers.

Responsibilities

- Employs use of all senses to assess threat conditions - reports all suspicious activity to base and/or law enforcement
