About The Position

GardaWorld provides cash-management services throughout the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, cash vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash recycler services. The company operates an extensive armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves over $8 billion in cash each day while providing 24/7 client support.

As an Armed Security employee working in cash transport, you will drive or work as a messenger on an armored truck to transport valuables safely and efficiently. You will interact professionally with customers, issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify transfers, and follow strict driver-safety and security practices in all weather and traffic conditions. The role requires heavy lifting and maintaining the guard and firearm permits or licenses required by state regulations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid, clean driver's license.
• Have, or be able to obtain and maintain, active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Have strong customer-service skills and communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables in an armored truck.
• Interact professionally with customers and build rapport in accordance with customer-service standards.
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
• Follow driver-safety requirements in all weather conditions and remain vigilant for the safety of customers, colleagues, and the community.
• Maintain the guard and firearm permits or licenses required for the position.
