The Armed Security Supervisor will function as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The role ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. The supervisor will notify proper authorities and clients in emergency situations, and will coach and discipline personnel as appropriate, seeking advice from company management when needed. This role involves training Security Officers and other company personnel, reviewing post orders, and ensuring adequate coverage of all posts. The supervisor will prepare and submit various reports, inspect posts, and meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service. Supervisory duties may include interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and making hiring and termination recommendations. The supervisor may also perform the duties of a Security Officer.
