GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring as an Armed Supervisor! Ready to suit up as an Armed Supervisor? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. As an Armed Security Officer, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of your assigned location while providing excellent customer service. You will observe, patrol, and survey the area, maintaining a vigilant presence to identify any potential security threats. You are responsible for providing timely and accurate reports on activities and incidents occurring at the location. In addition to monitoring the premises, you will be required to respond rapidly in critical situations, making decisive actions to de-escalate or neutralize any threats. You will be expected to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards in a professional manner, ensuring that all actions are consistent with company policies and legal requirements. Your ability to read and write detailed reports is crucial for documenting incidents and maintaining thorough records for future reference.

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
  • You have a license and meet any additional requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer in your state.
  • Valid armed security license.
  • Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security and de-escalation.
  • Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Nice To Haves

  • First aid certification is an asset
  • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

Responsibilities

  • Become proficient in all company software systems related to onboarding, scheduling, and financial operations.
  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Oversee inspections, training, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations across assigned accounts.
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
  • Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
  • Maintain a clean motor vehicle record, as you may be required to operate a company vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
  • Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
