About The Position

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Armed Security Site Supervisor for a downtown location. This role involves supervising and coordinating the delivery of quality security services, acting as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. The supervisor will also manage site staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline. The position requires open availability and offers weekly and daily pay.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid CA guard card.
  • Must have a valid exposed firearm permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers.
  • Supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.
  • Communicate staffing needs to Operation Manager, which may include using the Requisition process and assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates.
  • Assure that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills.
  • Manage performance, including coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, and recognition.
  • Assure that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support employees.
  • Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
