Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may call for an armed presence consistent with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or patrol activities, and communicate with local site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when appropriate.
