As a Armed Security Officer - Holmes Rd in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Possess a valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter locations, while remaining alert for unusual activity and helping to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
