About The Position

Baptist Health is looking to add an Armed Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our Baptist Silverleaf location. This is a Full-Time Nights position working 12-hour shifts. The Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.

Requirements

Over 5 years Law Enforcement Experience Required
High School Diploma Required
Driver's License Required
Licensed Security Officer- Class G Required
Licensed Security Officer- Class D Required
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
