As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with clear communication. This is an armed, driving post, requiring regular vehicle patrols and detailed reporting. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting suspicious activity or hazards according to site procedures.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and monitoring deliveries in support of security-related protocols.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per site requirements.
• Complete routine security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, access control events, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts as directed.
