About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile aero and defense location where you will conduct armed, mobile patrols, control access, and complete detailed incident and activity reports. You will remain highly visible, respond to alarms and service requests, and help to deter unauthorized activity through strong presence and professional communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of security experience is required.
  • Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is required, or a college degree is required.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter gates, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or other security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed and documenting actions taken.
  • Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, authorizations, and deliveries, and maintaining logs in accordance with post orders and applicable requirements.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws, including following weapon handling and retention practices and reporting equipment issues.
