Armed Security Officer (3 years Experienced Req.) Aviation Facility
About The Position
As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter-Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, control access, and respond to alarms and unusual activity with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or access control requirements for an aero and defense location.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearms and other assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local laws, and client post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, watching for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or other security-related concerns.
- Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and access activity, and communicate timely updates through designated channels and/or radio protocols.
