About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol-Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a high-profile aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete detailed reports, control access points as needed, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. This is an armed and driving post, combining mobility, presence, and customer service in a mission-focused environment.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production or office areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems as assigned, initiate appropriate notifications, and document observations in required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local authorities as directed.
• Screen employees, contractors, and deliveries for authorization, verify credentials, and follow post orders for restricted areas, controlled items, and visitor management.
