About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and access control checks while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. This is an armed and driving post, supporting rapid response across the site. You will document activity, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver customer service aligned with our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Control access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and screening authorized deliveries and contractors according to site requirements.
  • Complete security-related reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents through approved reporting systems and/or radio communications.
