You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hold a Texas Level III Armed Certification for roles in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by post assignment.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or authorization for entry, and help to deter unauthorized access to controlled areas while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
