Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location as an armed officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while handling daily security-related responsibilities with professionalism.

Requirements

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor assigned areas.
• Conduct routine patrols.
• Remain visible to help discourage incidents.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
• Handle daily security-related responsibilities with professionalism.
