As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Clearance Eligible in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.
• Operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
• Respond to security-related concerns.
