As a Armed Security Officer - Kirby Dr in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting an automotive location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
  • Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.
  • Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents.
  • Provide professional customer service and communication.
