About The Position
Wright Memorial Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to join their team. This role involves all aspects of security, including patrolling, approved security responses, and reporting incidents/issues according to department procedures. The hospital offers highly competitive salaries based on education, certification, and experience, with a starting hourly rate of $25.00. The shift is Wednesday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with an additional 4 hours of floating, totaling 16 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old
- Valid Driver's License
- Private Officer Commission - Training provided
- Armed Private Officer Training - Training provided
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to work
- Adaptable and eager to learn
- Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team

Responsibilities
- Assists employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs, controlling entrances and exits to parking lots.
- Patrols hospital campus and reports safety/security issues according to department procedures.
- Provides personal escorts and other routine security services to employees, patients, and visitors.
