About The Position

P&G Security is hiring an Armed Security Officer to provide protective services at the New London Air National Guard Station at Stanly County Airport. Supporting the mission of the North Carolina Air National Guard, our officers maintain the highest standards of physical security and operational readiness. As a contractor operating in a high-security, mission-critical environment, you will play a direct role in national defense. This is a dayshift only position. Prior to starting at the Stanly County site, the officer must complete a minimum of 30 days of initial training on-site in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for base access and clearance eligibility).
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance.
  • Current armed security license or ability to obtain while onboarding.
  • Ability to obtain and pass PPSB standards for the M18 pistol, M870 shotgun, and AR-15.
  • Must complete a minimum of 30 days of training in Charlotte, NC before being released to work at the Stanly County site.
  • Must be available to work advertised shift and weekends as needed.
  • Clean background and drug screening.
  • Adherence to grooming standards (DAFI 36-2903).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work highly independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior service or experience working on DoW installation.
  • Current Secret Clearance (active or within 5 years).
  • Familiarity with Air Force security protocols.
  • Experience working under federal/state contracts or with DoW contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the installation, verifying credentials of personnel, contractors, and visitors.
  • Conduct armed patrols of restricted areas, facilities, and perimeter zones.
  • Monitor for threats of unauthorized activity and respond In Accordance With (IAW) established operating procedures.
  • Assist Air Force Security Forces and coordinate during emergencies, drills, and real-world incidents.
  • Prepare incident and activity reports according to the required Department of War (DoW) policy and post orders.
  • Ensure all security operations comply with Air Force regulations and contract standards.
