Peralta Associates & Defense is seeking Full-Time & Part-time Armed Security Officers to join our rapidly expanding team in the Orange County, CA area. Requirements
- Valid exposed firearms permit
- Professional demeanor
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically fit
- Valid California Guard Card required.
- Power to arrest certificate required.
- Appropriate Use of Force certificate required.
- Required remaining 32 hours of certification.
- Valid California Firearms License required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Commitment to delivering superior customer service.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including prolonged standing, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, driving record, and drug testing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous observation of client premises and promptly report suspicious activity.
- Monitor perimeter areas, and complete accurate incident reporting.
- Provide exceptional good customer service while adhering to all safety, security, and site-specific protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Identify potential hazards or criminal activity.
- Report suspicious behavior or security violations to supervisors or law enforcement as required.
- Prepare accurate written reports documenting observations, incidents, and surveillance activities.
- Issue verbal warnings, detain or make arrests when applicable, and coordinate with law enforcement during security breaches or criminal events.
- Adapt to diverse environments and changing conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
