Armed Security Officer
About The Position
Culpepper & Associates Security Services is seeking Armed Security Officers to work at the Federal Aviation Administration, College Park GA. Employment Status Part-Time positions available. Base Wage: $32.19 per hour. Health & Welfare $5.45 per hour (Up to 40 hours) Total $36.64. Armed Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the employees and visitors. Applicants must be flexible and able to work various shifts as needed and have professional etiquette and be able to interact with employees and visitors in a courteous and respectful manner.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S citizen
- Exercise sound judgment, meet and deal with people in a positive manner, and maintain poise and self control under stress.
- Input and retrieve data using computerized security system.
- Read, understand and apply printed instructions, rules, detailed orders,.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Three years of security experience within the last five years.
- Speak English fluently.
- Read and understands written English in reports, orders, guidelines and instructions.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the safety and security of all visitors and employees.
- Monitor for signs of unusual activity.
- Report any security breaches or illegal activity.
- Conduct routine security checks to prevent vandalism and theft.
- Respond to emergencies.
