About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in New Orleans, Louisiana. The officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. The role includes responding to incidents and critical situations calmly and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a part-time position using Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on availability. The listed schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
