About The Position
Workable Solutions Investigative & Protective Services, LLC (WSIPS) is currently hiring Licensed Armed Security Officers for immediate assignments throughout Montgomery, Alabama and surrounding areas. If you already possess a valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Armed Security Officer License and are ready to begin work immediately, we invite you to attend our upcoming Hiring Event. This position offers immediate placement on available contracts with full-time and part-time hours available, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a current Alabama ASRB Armed Security Officer License
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a valid Driver's License with a clean MVR (driving record)
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a criminal background investigation and drug screening
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Be dependable, punctual, and career-focused
- Be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed
- Valid Alabama Driver's License
- Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) obtained from the DMV
- Current Alabama ASRB Armed Security Officer License
- Valid Alabama Pistol Permit
- Employment eligibility documentation (social security card, birth certificate, HS Diploma/GED)
- Any additional certifications related to security or law enforcement
Responsibilities
- Protect client personnel, visitors, and property
- Conduct armed foot and vehicle patrols
- Monitor access control points and enforce site policies
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
- Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Enforce post orders and operational procedures
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment
