Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
• Support asset protection and security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports and logs accurately.
