As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and upholding the highest standards of professionalism while interacting with clients and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Prepare and submit incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with site staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on duty, identifying and reporting suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
