As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence at a leading aerospace and defense location. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification if located in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor and control entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
Remain alert to potential security-related threats and/or hazards within the location, and report concerns promptly.
