As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment, working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, while putting people first in every interaction.

Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors within financial institution environments.
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, following established protocols.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and client procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, supporting incident resolution and/or investigations.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations, including emergencies, alarms, and security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
