As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role is both armed and requires driving, allowing you to respond promptly throughout the site. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation in every interaction.

Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas if applying for a position in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter in an aerospace and defense environment, adapting to varying working conditions.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity through visible presence and patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
Participate in ongoing training related to security-related procedures, emergency response, and the use of firearms as required for the post.
