Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control, and provide professional customer service and clear communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while assigned to an armed post.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, vestibules, parking areas, and/or ATM areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or access control, and document observations, patrol activity, and incidents per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with management and/or law enforcement as directed and providing clear, timely communication.
  • Support operations by providing security-related escorts for staff, cash or valuable item movements, and/or after-hours access, following post orders and de-escalation practices.
