About The Position

OPS Security Group is seeking professional and customer-service-focused Enhanced Security Officers for a people-facing security role. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-interaction environments while maintaining safety and security standards and deescalation skills. This is a high-stress, high-interaction environment working with individuals who may be experiencing trauma, emotional distress, or difficult situations. Candidates must be able to remain calm, professional, and emotionally controlled under pressure. This role is not suited for individuals who become easily overwhelmed in emotionally intense environments.

Requirements

Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 certification required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
3 years of security, military or law enforcement experience is required.
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Basic computer knowledge (email, reports, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements

Nice To Haves

3 years of armed security experience
Military experience
Law Enforcement Experience
State or federally certified law enforcement academy training
CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS training preferred or ability to obtain
Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
Candidates cannot have previously worked at the Hope Center
Prior experience in shelters, behavioral health, healthcare security, customer service, or high-contact security environments is highly preferred.
