You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and report access concerns or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, offices, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, inspections, and security-related observations.
