Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain awareness of activity involving restricted areas, facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
