About The Position
City Security Services is hiring Transit Security Officers to provide security coverage within assigned facilities. This is a hands-on security position requiring officers to remain alert, communicate professionally, follow procedures, and respond appropriately to changing circumstances.
Requirements
- Active Level 3 certification.
- Guard license in hand.
- Baton certification.
- OC certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean three-year driving record.
- Ability to pass the PRT.
- Ability to complete 24-hour training.
- Basic technical skills.
- Minimum age of 21.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine security patrols.
- Maintain assigned posts.
- Monitor public and restricted areas.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
- Assist passengers, employees, and visitors.
- Provide basic first aid when required.
- Identify and report hazards.
- Report facility and equipment issues.
- Monitor visitor access.
- Respond to unauthorized access.
- Contact police, fire, EMS, and supervisors as appropriate.
- Complete incident reports.
- Perform duties assigned by the Security Manager.
