About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a professional and dependable Level 2 Armed Guardian Courthouse Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling various areas of the courthouse, including entrances and garages. You will provide access control and conduct patrols while maintaining a visible presence and demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

Active driver's license
Valid Florida Security License D License and G License
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma
U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
Associate's Degree (60 College Credits, Official Transcripts)
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol various areas of the courthouse such as the entrances and garages.
Provide access control and patrols.
Remain visible and display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Handle the pressure of working with a high volume general public (constantly to occasionally).
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
