Armed Security Officer Orlando Area Part time
About The Position
Excelsior Defense is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our exceptional team. This part-time role involves protecting client premises, assets, and personnel. The officer will maintain a high visibility presence, prevent illegal or inappropriate actions, and manage access control. Responsibilities include patrolling the property and scanning designated points as part of the housing contract. The Armed Officer must be prompt in patrolling the community to ensure safety. Specific shifts available are in the Orlando Area on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 PM to 5 AM, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 PM to 5 AM.
Requirements
- Proven Work experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Valid D and G security license (Needs to be active with both security license)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Must have your own weapon
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detain orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
Responsibilities
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report in detain any suspicious incidents

- Patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe
- Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property
