About The Position

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Part-Time Weekends Licensed Armed Security Officers in the New Castle, DE area. We have 2nd shift available on the weekend! This position offers a starting pay rate of $21.40/hr - with weekly pay. Must pass background and psych evaluation. All duty equipment is supplied by Sunstates Security; this includes gun, holster, uniforms and vests, if needed. All weapons qualification fees are paid by Sunstates Security. Weapons qualifications for change of weapons is paid by Sunstates. All ammo for weapons qualifications is supplied by Sunstates Security. This position is Monday through Sunday (days and hours can vary depending on operational need).

Requirements

• Must have valid Delaware Armed Security Officer license (Red Card). If you don't have a Red Card, Sunstates Security will assist in paying for and scheduling you for the certification classes.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience with computer knowledge.
• Experience with security monitor systems (i.e. CCTV).
• All armed officers must pass a psychological exam.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• State of Delaware Firearms Security Guard License (Red Card)
• State of Delaware Non-Commissioned Security License (Yellow Card)

Nice To Haves

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
