About The Position

The Security Department of Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking to fill the second-shift Armed Security Officer role. This position offers a unique opportunity for former law enforcement officers and military veterans to apply their skills and experience in a new context. The role involves monitoring and authorizing the entry and exit of associates, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and ensure the security of the premises.

Requirements

Minimum five years experience in law enforcement required or equivalent qualifications
Has completed a state or federal LE certification course
Able to lawfully carry a concealed firearm
Has completed a state or federal firearms course or similar military training
Basic knowledge of security and computer systems
Valid driver's license
Available to work 40 hours a week: second shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Available to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and secure facility for associates and guests
Monitor the security of facilities through security posts, cameras, and parking areas
Answer telephone calls, monitor access control systems and fire alarm systems
Ensure compliance with corporate safety and security guidelines
Monitor and authorize the entry and exit of associates, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and ensure the security of the premises
