As a Armed Security Officer - Full Time First Aid Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, donor areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to maintain an orderly environment for healthcare operations.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
