About The Position
Patrol Solutions is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a county maintenance yard in Lancaster, CA. This is a full-time position with a graveyard shift, providing armed security and patrolling the property. The role requires responding to alarms and incidents, writing reports, and providing professional service to county staff. This position is best suited for applicants living in the Antelope Valley area (Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill, or Rosamond).
Requirements
- 18 or older (21 or older to drive a company vehicle or carry a firearm under California law)
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
- Valid BSIS Baton permit, Pepper Spray certification and CPR/First Aid certification
- Your own duty firearm, baton and pepper spray (the company does not provide them)
- Valid California driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record
- Reliable transportation to Lancaster
- Able to read and write clear reports in English and use a smartphone for daily activity reports

Responsibilities
- Provide armed security for a county yard overnight
- Patrol the property on foot and check gates, fencing, vehicles and equipment
- Write clear daily activity and incident reports
- Respond to alarms and incidents, and contact police or emergency services when needed
- Provide professional, courteous service to county staff
